The Howard Company Introduces the Customer Care Drive-Thru Canopy
BROOKFIELD, Wis. (March 27, 2002) – The Customer Care Drive-Thru Canopy is now available from The Howard Company, manufacturers of Mainstreet Menu Systems and point-of-purchase displays.
The drive-thru canopy provides many benefits for customers and the restaurant owner. For the customer, a canopy not only provides shelter from inclement weather and excess background noise, but also supplies bright down lighting for an added sense of security. For the restaurant owner, the large illuminated acrylic roof "glows" and acts as a beacon directing customers to the drive-thru lane. It can also be used as a clearance bar and mounting pole for the speaker and microphone or order confirmation unit.
An added feature of the Howard Company's canopy is the lift-n-swing roof design. The patent pending helix design, which connects the roof to the mounting pole, allows the roof to lift up when struck by a vehicle to minimize damage and automatically swing back into place. Other features include the fully enclosed, easy-to-maintain acrylic roof, rust-proof aluminum and powder painted steel construction and powerful 250 watt metal halide lamp.
Founded in 1950, The Howard Company is headquartered in Brookfield, Wisconsin. It serves both domestic and international markets in the food service, beverage, financial and targeted retail industries such as home hardware, automotive and aftermarket parts.
