Lightbox Specifications
Mainstreet's lightboxes are completely modular. Choose from a variety of lightbox sizes and mix them horizontally or vertically in any combination to fit your needs. When combined with multiple panel configurations, the design possibilities are endless.
In addition to its patented modular design (US Patent No. 5.379.540), the entire Mainstreet menu system, not just the electrical components, is UL listed, CSA Certified and CE compliant.

Panel Configurations
Choose from a wide variety of panel configurations to create the most effective presentation of your menu. Copy is available in either standard or jumbo type. Standard copy can be easily read from up to fifteen feet away.
Mainstreet's hinged door assembly includes the menu panel and non-glare front panel. This unique design allows for strips, prices, and translites to be changed with ease.

Strips
All text strips for Mainstreet systems are made-to-order to match exactly what you want it to read. Choose from eight stock type styles and a wide variety of colors. We can also print 4-color graphics on our text strips.
Header Strips
Headers describe a section of your menu. They are available in a variety of colors with white letters or black with an acetate color strip that changes the color of the letters.
Listing Strips
Listings designate each menu item and are followed by one or more 4-digit price carriers.
Statement Strips
Statements describe a listing or header strip.
Trim Styles
Contempo Trim
If your decor is contemporary, contempo trim is your best choice. It is available in twelve vibrant colors as well as chrome and brass metallic. Ball style corners available in brass and chrome only.
Decorator Trim
Add a touch of class by choosing decorator trim. The marble look trim is available in the following colors.
Custom Trim Surrounds
The Mainstreet By Design Envision product line offers custom trim surrounds on Mainstreet Gold lightboxes.
Mounting Options
Wall Mount
To hang your menu system flush against the wall, the wall mount kit is the option to choose.
Angle Wall Mount
The angle wall mount kit tilts the menu system forward 15 degrees. For a completely finished look, end caps are included in the kit.
Ceiling Hung
Mainstreet also offers a ceiling hanging kit that includes hanging bars and chains. The back of the menu system was designed with a clean, sleek look to make ceiling hanging an attractive option. Contempo and decorator trim can be used with this option.
System Enhancements
As part of our all inclusive pricing, we offer the following enhancements for no extra charge to give your menu system a customized look.
Accent Toppers
Add accent toppers to an indoor menu system to draw even more attention to your menu items. Toppers can be added to the perimeter of the menu system- top, bottom, and sides. If shown on the approved layout, the accent toppers are included in the price of the menu system.
Combo Meal Translites with Low-tac Number and Pricing Sheet
Highlighting combo meals is a sure way to enhance sales. The combo meal kit includes translites with yellow corners and a set of low-tac numbers to designate up to twelve combo meals. If shown on the approved layout, the combo meal kit is included in the price of the menu system.

Stock Translites
Mainstreet is proud to have one of the largest food subject photo libraries in the world! Stock and custom images can be produced in various sizes to fit just about any application.
Custom Translites
For a truly custom look, send us your professionally shot high resolution images and we will produce a custom translite for your menu system. To avoid custom art charges, send us a 4" x 5" or 8" x 10" film positive or negative. Custom logos copy can be added to custom or stock translites (additional charges may apply).
