You decide what kind of system will work best for you based on your store or multiple store needs, or use our Installation services to do a site survey for your multiple location stores.  We have several easy-to-use options to select from, plus the support team to guide you through set up, programing, and implementing your content.

The Howard Company/Mainstreet Menu Systems offers its proprietary software in three different versions:

ShowQuest™ Lite:

• Both Manager & Player software reside on a dedicated PC, which acts as a media player
• Software is controlled at the display/menu board using a wireless keyboard and mouse
• Is used for a "stand alone" (non-networked) application
• Requires no network connection

Showquest™ Plus (LAN):

• "Plus" version is a Local Area Network (LAN) based system
• Manager software resides on a separate PC on-site; you can use a new one provided by The Howard Company or utilize an existing PC you currently use for your other facility applications
• Player software drives the display according to instructions from the Manager. Software resides on a mini-PC mounted close to the screen
• A network hub is created allowing the Manager PC and the Player PC to communicate
• Program does not require an internet connection
• System is ideal for school, military and public facility applications

ShowQuest^TM   Max (WAN):

• "Max" version is a Wide Area Network (WAN) based system
• Screens & media players are controlled by a manager PC
• Content is created and scheduled for each screen/player, then is distributed via the internet to the remote player
• Internet connection is required

ShowQuest™ Content Management Software

Content management software is used to assemble your menu board content and build your "shows", schedule the playlists of items, and distributes the content and media to the Media Players.

ShowQuest™ software consists of three parts:

• ShowQuest™ Manager: an application used to build, schedule and manage your content
• ShowQuest™ Player: an application used to drive the display according to the instructions from the Manager
• ShowQuest™ Menu Designer: used for the creation and editing of menus and pricing which eliminates the need for 3rd party software
